New Album - White Lies And Bloodshot Eyes

Our fourth studio album White Lies And Bloodshot Eyes is now available. Download from iTunes, eMusic or Amazon.mp3:

Or buy it on CD exclusively from our friends at Kool Kat Music.

The new album is a collection of unreleased songs, b-sides and other rarities recorded from 2005 to 2011.

"One Way Ticket" is a first class single with equal helpings of The Kinks and The Jam. "Wherever You Are Tonight" and "Get It Together" are solid rockers with the latter track's organ leading the way. "I Get Tongue Tied" is about shyness and the lovely harmonies here make it a gem. Included is a terrific cover of The Velvet's "WhiteLight/White Heat." Easy to recommend to your play list." - Powerpopaholic

Californication Fans

We continue to be surprised by the number of new fans who discovered us from the TV show Californication. Two songs from our first album I Can See Where This Is Going Now and What You Want Me To Do were featured in Season Two, which has been screened across much of the world over the last couple of years.

We decided to make it a little easier for Californication fans to find those songs, so you can now listen to them (and other SSA tunes) in the flash player to your left.

Now Available In Japan

Our friends at Power Pop Academy are now distributing our CDs in Japan, so Japanese fans can now order the Shake Some Action!, Sunny Days Ahead and Fire And Ice CDs direct from Power Pop Academy in Tokyo. For a limited time if you purchase any of these CDs you'll receive a free copy of the Strangers In The Night CD, featuring songs from James Hall's previous band, the Jeunes.
